Imagine state-of-the-art technology that, at the touch of a button, transforms a wall-mounted painting or photograph into a high-tech video display. What once was a beautiful piece of art is now a plasma television.

Inside the beautiful hardwood frame, the artwork ascends or descends with the touch of a remote control or RS-232 controller command (AMX and Creston compatible). When the screen or television is not in use, an image of the purchaser’s choosing is displayed within the frame. When the artwork is retracted, the video display is visible for viewing within the frame.

ArtScreen capitalizes on Vutec’s years of experience manufacturing high-quality, remote-controlled, electronic masking systems. This proven technology has been incorporated into renditions of fine artwork suitable for home, executive suite or boardroom interior designs.

Artwork choices are limited only by the imagination. High-resolution digital printing techniques are employed to faithfully reproduce any artwork selected. In addition, poster art or large prints of selected photographs can be used. The quality will be limited only by the resolution of the original from which the artwork enlargement will be created. Custom prints on canvas can also be quoted with variations depending on size and clarity.

Have a favorite piece of art from another gallery, a corporate logo or a family photo? Custom art work, images or company logos can be options for the boardroom, conference room or common areas of an office. Vutec can incorporate these images in ArtScreen if they are professionally scanned in a high resolution.

ArtScreen is available for plasma televisions up to 61” in size. Standard 4:3 or wide-screen aspect ratios can be accommodated. Custom sizes are available.

There is also an ArtScreen solution for recessing a plasma display into the wall - the ultimate in concealment options. With a special recess kit, the plasma unit can be inserted into the wall, leaving only the framed ArtScreen at the wall surface.
