Smart also offers a version of this board with a short throw projector (M680i6). Smart even has a lower cost version, the M680V that includes a pen ledge, similar of what a marker board has, instead of the electronic pen tray. Although the "V" boards do not include an electronic pen tray, the "V" boards still come with the same tools and performance of the other M600 series boards.

Please Note: the M680 and M685 do not ship with projectors, however projectors are required for use. If you do not currently have one, please contact us at 866-942-6273. We carry a full line of projectors for literally any application. The M680 features a 4:3 aspect ratio and replaced the SB680 while the M685 has a 16:10 aspect ratio replacing the SB685.

Dual-touch gestures

This world's most popular whiteboard now has dual-touch that offers students and teachers to naturally interact with content and creating fun lessons to drive engagement. Dual-touch gestures provide a consistent experience from your tablet device to your large format classroom display. With a simply use of finger or pen, students can enjoy writing, erasing and performing other functions. The SmartBoard M680 brings lesson contents to life by providing intuitive gestures such as flip, rotate and zoom, making interaction more natural for teachers.

The SmartBoard M600 freestyle interaction provides a simple and adaptable way of maintaining lesson momentum. It enables two students to start working together without having to switch to a multi-user mode or working confined areas of the surface. Durable writing surface

The board's surface is steel backed, hard coated and enhanced for projection. The surface is also durable and suitable for dry erase markets. Compare to its predecessor, the M600 Series utilize the Smart’s DViT technology to make the board's multi-touch capability compatible with support for two-touch points. Operate the board simultaneously without any issues or worries since no electronics are in the surface.
 

MAC / Windows compatible

With the compatibility to Mac and Windows, the M600 board provides you a full advantage of the latest operating system. Increase the workflow with the integrated response and user-friendly gestures.

Advanced pen tray

The M600 board no longer ships with the four colored pens with built-in auto detection.Now you get two (2) user-friendly pens with color select buttons built into the tray. Choose a color, create your presentation and the move to another color rapidly. Managing and switching between pens are no longer need.Need to type something? Engage the right click option and on screen keyboard buttons to provide more options on the fly.

SMART Notebook Software

Each board includes Smart Drivers and a license of Smart Notebook software. This new version of SMART Notebook has been built and refined based on feedback from educators. It supports different teaching methods, from large classes and small groups, to individual student learning. Includes is the popular Smart Ink feature which enhances the look of handwriting for easier reading, and also allows writing to become an object in the software, where it can be manipulated.
 

Teachers can easily create and deliver engaging interactive lessons and then save notes or contents from those lessons to share with students using Smart Notebook collaborative learning software. Notebook is also able to easily link to a variety of classroom technology using student devices creating interactive learning that flows throughout the classroom.
 

Students and teachers can also write clear notes over applications, website and videos using Smart Ink.
