Founded in 1978, Chief's (a division of Milestone AV Technologies) initial product was a revolutionary projector mount which featured roll, pitch, and yaw adjustments to make positioning easier and more accurate. At the time no other companies had released similar products so this breakthrough for Chief gained the new company some much needed publicity. Today Chief still manufactures advanced projector mounts in addition to TV and display mounts. There are many types of projector mounts available from Chief including ceiling, short throw, automated, and secure mounts. Chief automated projector mounts allow you to store the projector inside the ceiling until it is needed. Then, at the push of one button, the projector mount smoothly lowers the projector into the set position. Chief secure projector mounts are for high-risk applications. These mounts ensure that the projector is mounted securely, locked in place and all mounting points are protected.
