Lumens was founded in Taiwan since 1998. It is a part of the Pegatron Group, a major player in the fields of image processing, video electronics, and optical technology. Lumens provides portable document cameras, desktop document cameras, a ceiling document camera, HD PTZ cameras, and projection engines. The company operates globally with more than 100 established sites in about 44 countries. With the support of the Pegatron Group, Lumens is continuously improving product designs to be used in classrooms, conference rooms, and for distance learning.

Ladibug Series portable document cameras

The Lumens Ladibug series of portable document cameras features a range of cameras with differing capabilities. Top end models like the Wireless Flyer feature wireless control up to 49 feet away via the Ladibug iPad app as well as full HD, 30fps transmission via HDMI. This camera also features hands free auto focus with a maximum close-up range of only 1.6 inches for extreme detail even with small objects.

Lower end models still feature full HD 1080p resolution with fast 30fps frame rates, however they lack wireless capability. Even so, Lumens document cameras are "plug and play" ready with only one USB cable to plug in. All Lumens document cameras feature professional quality image sensors that identify brightness and contrast with low noise and vivid color reproduction.

Broadcast and share live images within your collaborative learning environment

The teacher and students can select the option to share a live image from their location in the classroom by using a Ladibug with a DC-W50 wireless base. The image is displayed at the front of the classroom but also on the students’ laptop computers or iPads so they can study the material from where they are seated. This technology allows students to enhance their learning skills on a higher level.

User friendly interface

All frequently used commands are designed into buttons on the camera base including lamp on-off, image freeze, capture and image optimization to adjust sharpness, brightness and focus for the best image quality in an instant.

Supports wireless and HDMI-out simultaneously

The DC125 Ladibug supports wireless and HDMI-out transmission simultaneously. The high definition live image can be displayed to a projector or full HD-TV making it a powerful presentation tool.

Jointless gooseneck

Innovative joint-free gooseneck design ensures smooth movement without vibration; high flexibility allows an unbelievable 360º viewing angle to observe objects in detail.
