The Weller WXD2 Soldering and Desoldering Station is a dual port power unit, ideal for use with the Weller WXDP120 Desoldering Iron. The Key settings are stored directly on the hand tools, which enables the WX series of tools to be interchanged with ease with other WX series control units without the need to enter control data into the power unit, saving time-consuming set up. With it's venturi, the Weller WXD2 provides high-pressure compressed air, which provides a contact high vacuum.
The maximum power output of the 255W of the Weller WXD2 control unit goes up to 200W, allowing the use of all of the WX series of tools. The Weller WXD2 can provide 200W from a single output or two 120W if both ports are in use. The Weller WXD2's Connection cable can connect the control unit to external devices such as hot plates and fumes extraction units.
The Weller WXD-2 features a straightforward an multilingual menu navigation system, that keeps the need to familiarize yourself to the Weller WXD2 at a minimum. The turn-and-click wheel allows intuitive operation as well.
