About

Fluke is arguably the best known test equipment manufacturer on earth. With its distinctive yellow and grey colored products, the company is easily recognizable as a part of almost every major industry. Fluke was founded in 1948. It initially manufactured power meters, ohmmeters, and ammeters. In the 1970s, Fluke released calibration and precision voltage measurement instruments. This new product category made Fluke the industry leader in test equipment. That said, the company's comprehensive line of handheld test instruments has consistently been its strongest selling product category. Today, Fluke's test equipment offerings include digital multimeters, clamp meters, single and three-phase power quality meters, thermal imagers, insulation resistance testers, ScopeMeter handheld oscilloscopes, and a range of IAQ and HVAC tools including particle counters, airflow and humidity meters, and hygrometers.

Fluke is currently owned by the Danaher Corporation. Fluke was purchased by the Danaher Corporation in 1998. This acquisition has transformed Fluke into what is today a billion dollar company. Danaher is a global conglomerate founded in 1969. The company is headquartered in Washington D.C. and today employs about 63,000 people.
